The Nebraska Cornhuskers faced off against the Colorado Buffaloes on Saturday night in a highly anticipated primetime game. The matchup, which kicked off at 7:30 PM, ended with Nebraska emerging victorious in Lincoln, thanks to a strong start and an impressive defensive performance.

The standout of the game was Nebraska’s talented quarterback, Dylan Raiola. Raiola went head-to-head with one of the nation's top quarterbacks, Shedeur Sanders, the son of Deion Sanders. While Sanders had a decent game, Raiola shined with a 23-for-30 completion rate, accumulating 185 yards at an average of 6.2 yards per completion, and throwing a touchdown pass to Rahmir Johnson. Sanders, in contrast, finished 23-for-38 with 244 yards and an average of 6.4 yards per completion, also tossing a touchdown but with one interception.

After the game, Raiola not only secured a victory on the field but also took a playful jab at Sanders off the field. In the locker room, Raiola was seen flaunting his watch alongside Will Compton and Taylor Lewan of the "Bussin' With The Boys" podcast. This was a nod to Sanders’ trademark celebration, where he would show off his Rolex watch to fans and opponents alike. Sanders even released a song titled "Perfect Timing," referencing his watch with the line, "They told me bust down my AP, perfect timing."

It’s clear that Raiola, the standout true freshman, enjoyed a memorable night, getting the last laugh over the future first-round draft pick Sanders.
